Condon was a four-year starting player and two-time team Captain for the baseball program in the early 70’s.  He was a three-time, First Team All-SUNYAC catcher and helped lead the team to two conference championships (1971, 1974) and one ECAC championship (1974).
 
Condon played semi-professionally for the Cohocton Red Wings from 1975-79.  In 1975 his team played in the National Baseball Congress World Series in Wichita, Kan.  He spent 33 years as a high school baseball and football coach at his alma mater, Corning Painted Post, where he was inducted into its Hall of Fame in 1982.  He is currently the baseball coach at Corning Community College where he was named the Mid States Athletic Conference Coach of the Year in 2015.
