Willink Terwilliger was a standout for the field hockey and lacrosse teams during the early 80’s. She is the third leading scorer all time with 114 points in field hockey including 50 goals. She was the field hockey team MVP in 1982 and was an All-New York State selection in both field hockey and lacrosse.
Her academic achievements earned her the Charles W. Hunt Scholarship for distinguished academic achievement while being chosen as the first recipient of the female Scholar-Athlete Award for the SUNYAC in 1983-84.
Willink Terwilliger’s professional career has been as a teacher and coach in the Penfield and Brighton school systems. She currently is the field hockey coach at Penfield High where her teams have won the Monroe County championship five out of the last six years.
