Donnelly was a four-year starting defender for the field hockey team from 2001-04.   During her four seasons, she was a three-time, first team All-SUNYAC selection including being selected as the conference Player of the Year in 2004.  She was selected twice as an All-Region performer and was a third team NFHCA National All-American as a senior.
 
During Donnelly’s four seasons, the Red Dragons made two appearances in both the NYSWCAA and ECAC tournaments.  In 2004 the team won the NYSWCAA tournament, and she was selected to the All-Tournament Team.
 
Donnelly started every game as a Red Dragon and posted one goal and 12 assists while collecting 10 defensive saves.
 
Graduating in 2005 with a Bachelor of Science degree, Donnelly continued her education and earned a Master of Science degree from Canisius in 2007.  She recently attained a Master of Healthcare Administration from Colorado State University in 2022 and she is currently working toward a Doctorate in Education at Hamline University with an anticipated graduation in 2025.
 
Donnelly has held various positions during her professional career and currently is the Program Manager for Adolescent Health Fellowship in the School of Medicine at the University of Minnesota.  Prior to her current position, she was the Director of Admissions at the Mitchell Hamline School of Law.
