Davis Trotta was a three-year starter for the women’s soccer team during her four-year career that spanned 2001-2004.  She is arguably one of the greatest offensive players in the history of the program.

Davis Trotta’s career was highlighted with her selection as the Most Outstanding Offensive Player of the 2003 NCAA Division III tournament in which Oneonta won the national championship on its home field in dramatic fashion.  During Oneonta’s magical run enroute to the title, she scored three of the biggest goals in program history.

During her career, Davis Trotta was a two-time All-SUNYAC selection along with being named NSCAA All-Region and All-State once.  She finished her stellar four-year run with 38 goals and 22 assists for 98 points.  Her goals and assists are both currently fourth all-time while she sits third all-time in points.

Davis Trotta completed her degree from Oneonta in Childhood Education in 2005 before earning a masters degree in Literacy from Russell Sage College in 2007.  She has spent her entire professional career as a first grade teacher in the Shenendehowa Central Schools.
