SUNY Oneonta Athletics

Neira was a four-year standout on the hardwood for the Red Dragons in the late 1980’s.  He finished his career with 1,042 points, which is currently 12^th all-time.  At the conclusion of his senior season, he was selected to the SUNYAC All-Conference Team.
 
During Neira’s career, the Red Dragons appeared in the ECAC tournament once and the SUNYAC tournament twice reaching the semifinals of the conference tournament in 1988 for just the second time in program history.  During his final season, Neira averaged 12.9 points per game.
 
Neira earned his degree in Business Economics and is currently working for Lockheed Martin Rotary and Mission Systems where he has been since 1997.  During his tenure at Lockheed, he has been a Subcontracts Administrator and now serves as a Sourcing and Supply Chain Manager, a position he has held since 2006.
 
Neira spent time in the coaching world directing the Owego Free Academy boys team at all levels culminating in leading them to the Section 4, Class B championship in 1995.  Since that time, he has been involved at all levels of youth sports as a coach.
