Hall of Fame
Sanchez was a top basketball player during his four years at Oneonta and helped lead the program back to prominence in the SUNYAC and in the region. He was twice selected as an All-Conference player and was the SUNYAC Player of the Year at the conclusion of the 1995-96 season.
As a senior Sanchez scored 621 points while leading the Red Dragons to the ECAC Upstate New York title. For his performance during the tournament he was selected as the Most Valuable Player. For his career, Sanchez scored 1,264 points, grabbed 518 rebounds dished out 126 assists and had 117 steals.
Since his graduation, Sanchez has continued his passion for the sport of basketball currently serving as an assistant coach at Div. I Washington State University.
