Morcone was the starting goalkeeper for Oneonta’s National Championship squad in 2003 as a sophomore.  She was a four-year starter and team Captain for both the 2004 and 2005 teams.  Morcone was a four-time All-SUNYAC selection including twice as a First Team player.  She was a two-time All-Region and three-time All-State selection.  The team won four SUNYAC titles and made four NCAA tournament appearances while never losing a single conference game during her four years.
 
After earning her undergraduate degree in Adolescent Education with an English concentration, Morcone spent a couple of seasons as an assistant coach with SUNY Oneonta.  From 2006-08, she played semi-pro soccer with the Adirondack Lynx.
 
Morcone joined the SUNY Oneonta admissions staff as a senior Admissions Counselor in 2007 and stayed until 2013 where she earned a Master of Science degree in Adolescent Education from Oneonta in 2011.  In 2013, Morcone took the position of Associate Director of Admissions at SUNY Orange and stayed until 2018 before moving into her current position of Director of Admissions Technology and CRM at SUNY New Paltz.  This fall, she will join the Hawks coaching staff for the women’s soccer team.
