Pauley was a standout soccer player in the mid-to-late 70’s where he started every game for the Red Dragons during his career.  The team put together a record of 40-15-7 overall while winning the SUNYAC championship and making an appearance in the NCAA Division I tournament in 1975.  Pauley was a four-time, First Team All-SUNYAC performer and was the Most Valuable Player of the Senior All-Star game.

Pauley has spent his professional career as an owner and operations manager for various companies.  After playing professionally for the Louisville Thunder of the A.I.S.L., he spent more than a decade playing club soccer in the Albany area where he built a team that is still around in the Capital District Soccer League Premier Division.  He also served as the C.D.S.L. President for 12 years.

Pauley was the boys coach at Colonie High School in the early 80’s before building the initial women’s program at the College of St. Rose.  While there, he built the Golden Knights into a nationally ranked Division II program.  In 1989, he was the Northeast Region Coach of the Year.
