Szkotak was the top women’s basketball player during her career between 2008-12.  During that time, she led the Red Dragons in scoring three times and rebounding twice.  Szkotak finished her career with 1,263 points, which is currently fourth all-time, and 617 rebounds, which is currently ninth all-time.  At the time of her induction, she has the fifth best three-point field goal percentage (33.2%) all-time and the seventh best free throw percentage (75.8%) all-time.

Szkotak earned First Team All-SUNYAC honors in her final three seasons which culminated in the Red Dragons capturing the SUNYAC title in 2012 and earning an NCAA tournament berth.  Szkotak led the way in the championship game with 20 points and 11 boards enroute to being named the MVP of the tournament.

Szkotak graduated with a degree in Psychology and worked as a Psychiatric Social Worker at St. Elizabeth Medication Center in Utica, NY.  In 2019, she relocated to South Carolina where she worked as a Substance Abuse Counselor for the Southwest Carolina Treatment Center in Anderson, SC.  Szkotak spent one year as a Regional Administrator at the Carolina Treatment Centers/Aspire Management in Greenville before being moving into her current position as a Human Resources Coordinator.
