Prophete had an outstanding career on the mat in helping to lead the Red Dragons from 1996-2001.  During his career, he compiled an overall record of 61-40 while qualifying for the NCAA Division III national tournament twice earning All-American honors in his final season of 2001.
 
In his second season, Prophete captured the ECWC title at 118 pounds while being selected as the Most Outstanding Wrestler of the tournament.  That season, Prophete also qualified for the NCAA tournament for the first time.  Prophete’s second trip to the NCAA came at the conclusion of his final season in 2001.
 
After graduating in 2003 with a bachelor of science in French, Prophete has spent his professional career working with kids who have mental and emotional difficulties.  He currently works as a co-teacher in Autism support within the Wilkes-Barre (PA) area school district.
 
Additionally, Prophete has been involved in the sport of wrestling as a competitor and coach.  He placed multiple times in the top 5 in both Greco and Freestyle at the Empire State Games.  As a coach, he has coached multiple collegiate All-Americans and two NCAA finalists while coaching multiple High School place-finishers.  He is currently coaching the new girls wrestling program in the school district.
