McGrail, by most accounts, is the greatest pure athlete in the history of the college, man or woman. From the moment she put on an Oneonta State uniform, the teams she played for transformed into championship caliber programs.

McGrail was a three-sport standout in soccer, basketball and softball for Oneonta during
the years of 1997-2001. During her fours years, she was a member of seven teams that qualified for the NCAA tournament including three as a senior.

In the sport of soccer, McGrail was the program’s first All-American and, at the time of her induction, is the only first team selection. She graduated as the school’s all-time leading scorer for both men and women’s soccer with 137 points. During her time the soccer program amassed an overall record of 65-15-6 overall while winning three SUNYAC titles and qualifying for three NCAA tournaments and one ECAC tournament. She is the only woman in SUNYAC soccer history to be selected as the conference MVP three times.

As a member of the basketball team she was part of the only two SUNYAC championship
teams and finished her career with 289 points and 236 rebounds.

As a three-year member of the softball team she helped lead the Red Dragons to two conference titles and two NCAA berths. She still ranks in the top five in doubles (29), career average (.409), career slugging (.555), total bases (213), runs scored (97), runs batted in (86) and triples (6).
