SUNY Oneonta Athletics

Williams was a four-year starting catcher for the Red Dragons from 1989-93.  He was team Co-Captain for his junior and senior seasons and was selected as a SUNYAC First Team catcher in 1993.  That same year he was the SUNY Oneonta Male Athlete of the Year.  As a senior, he hit .324 helping to lead the Red Dragons to a berth in the ECAC tournament.

Williams graduated with a degree in Business Economics from Oneonta.  Williams has spent his professional career in finance and sales beginning with his position at TD Waterhouse as a Branch Manager from 1996-2005.  In 2005, he was honored by the company in their President’s Circle.

Williams spent the years of 2005-11 as an Account Executive with Cook, Hall & Hyde before moving on to be an Account Director with CA Technologies in 2013 staying until 2019.

Williams is currently an Area Sales Director at Apptio in the city of New York.  Apptio, is a Bellevue, Washington-based company founded in 2007 that develops technology business management software as a service application. Apptio enterprise apps are designed to assess and communicate the cost of IT services for planning, budgeting, and forecasting purposes.

Williams’ post-graduate sports successes include being the catcher for the MSBL Brookhaven Knights squad that won the Long Island championship in 2005 and being the coach of a 9/10-year old softball All-Star team that won the District 36 championship in 2010.
