Hall of Fame
Small excelled in the sport of softball and was a teammate of Dalton's for four years. Together they led the Red Dragons to prominence within the conference and the New York Region. Small used her arm to lead Oneonta as a pitcher and shortstop during her four-year career. She was a four-time All-SUNYAC and All-New York State selection and was the
Team MVP as a senior.
Statistically Small is the career leader in triples (11) and earned run average while being second in career wins (41) and strikeouts (220). On April 15, 1995 against Oswego she pitched the only perfect game in school history that there is record of.
Since her graduation Small has become a Crew Chief at Weeden Land Surveying.
