SUNY Oneonta Athletics

Kluefer was a four year soccer player for Oneonta. During his career he was All Conference
in 1967 and an All State selection in 1968. He was selected as team Most Valuable Player for the 1968 season. In 1970 he played with the New York State All-Stars on their European tour. He finished his career with 30 goals and 15 assists for 75 points.

Kluefer graduated in 1971 with a degree in Secondary Education and then returned to his native country of Germany. He spent his entire professional life working in middle management at Bayer AG.
