Allison Weller

Weller was a four year starting pitcher for the softball program from 1996 99. During her four years she helped lead the softball program to two ECAC tournaments and the program's first SUNYAC title and NCAA tournament in 1999. During her career the program put together a record of 101 39 where she alone compiled an impressive record of 58 18 including 29 9 as a senior when the team won the SUNYAC title and qualified for the NCAA tournament.

Weller was an All Region and an All SUNYAC selection as a senior. She still holds single season records for wins (29), strikeouts (144), innings pitched (245.1) complete games (35) and shutouts (9).
Weller current career ranks are 1st in wins (58), innings pitched (496.1), complete games (58), and in shutouts (19). She is 2nd in career strikeouts (290) and 6th in ERA (2.10).

Since her graduation from Oneonta, Weller has completed a Master’s of Science degree
from Dowling College and a Master’s of Arts in History from Stony Brook University. She is currently working on her Ph.D. at Stony Brook while continuing to teach social studies at Walter O’Connell High School in Copiague, where she has been since 2000.
