Hall of Fame
Gervasio Forrest distinguished herself in the classroom and as a varsity starter for the field hockey team from 1990-1994. The honors accumulated during her outstanding career are numerous for her accomplishments as a student-athlete.
Athletically she was a four-time Regional All-American, twice being selected to the first team. She was a four-time selection as an All-New York State performer and was tri-captain of the field hockey team as a senior. She led the team in scoring as a sophomore and senior and helped lead her teams to a combined 54-33 record during her four years including an ECAC championship in 1991.
Her academic accolades include being selected in 1994 as a recipient of a New York State Women's Collegiate Athletic Association Scholar-Athlete Award. Three times she was named to the College Field Hockey Coaches National Academic Squad while being a four-time honoree on the SUNYAC Commissioner's List and All-Academic Team. As a senior she was the
recipient of the Oneonta State Female Scholar Athlete of the Year Award.
Gervasio Forrest was a magna cum laude graduate in Political Science in 1994 from Oneonta. Since 1995 she has been employed by Butler Pappas Law Firm in Tampa, Fla. where she currently is the Assistant Client Relations Manager.
