Yandoli was a standout on the baseball diamond for Don Axtell’s Red Dragons from 1974-77.  Yandoli was the team’s starting catcher and helped lead Oneonta to four winning seasons that included one SUNYAC title and two ECAC tournament championships.

Yandoli was a two-year captain and three times was selected to the SUNYAC All-Conference First Team.  As a senior he earned honors as an ECAC Upstate All-Star.  A career .300 hitter, Yandoli caught spring season no-hitters including one thrown by Oneonta Hall of Famer, Roger Weaver, who went on to pitch for the Detroit Tigers of Major League Baseball.

After graduating with a degree in English Literature from Oneonta, Yandoli pursued the business world, where he eventually owned and operated nine McDonald’s Restaurant franchises from 1990 to 2007 before selling them.  At the time of his induction he was President/Owner of Optimized Hospitality Corporation, which is a consulting business for restaurant and beverage companies.
