Clark transferred to Oneonta in 1975 and assumed a key role for the men’s basketball team that was a top-tier program regionally in the mid-70’s under Don Flewelling. During his first season, he played in 16 games as a top reserve scoring 58 points and grabbing 60 rebounds.
In his final season, Clark led the team in scoring (14.1 ppg) and rebounding (7.7 rpg) and was named All-SUNYAC Second Team. He shot 55 percent from the field and 82 percent from the free throw line. He helped the Red Dragons advance in the NCAA tournament all the way to the national championship game where, despite falling to Wittenberg in the championship game, he was selected as the MVP of the final four.
After graduating from Oneonta, Clark spent his entire professional life as a New York City train operator and conductor until his retirement in 2010.
