Hall of Fame
Pocyntyluk is one of the all time greats in the history of men’s basketball. At the time of his graduation he was the all time leader in scoring and rebounding. His four years of honors includes, ECAC Rookie of the Year in 1981, three-time ECAC All-Star, three-time SUNYAC All-Star and four-time All-New York State while being a member of the 1,000 point club. After his graduation from Oneonta he spent time as an assistant for then coach Don Flewelling in 1984-85 and again from 1987-90.
In 1985-86 he spent a year as a player/coach in Sweden where he averaged 37 points and 17 rebounds per game.
