Regina was an outstanding performer for the wrestling program during his four years at Oneonta. He was a two-time All-American and four-time All-New York State wrestler while also taking home two SUNYAC titles. At the 1991 SUNYAC Championships Regina was selected as the Outstanding Wrestler of the tournament.
He was a two-year captain and put together a string of 51 consecutive dual-meet wins from 1989 to 1991 and was selected as the Oneonta Male Athlete of the Year as a senior. Regina's work in the classroom earned him honors as a Scholar All-American his last three years and twice he was chosen as the top Male Scholar-Athlete at Oneonta.
A native of Nesconset, N.Y., Regina entered the Police Academy after graduation from Oneonta and is currently employed as an Police Officer in the Suffolk County Police Department. In 1995 he won the New York State Law Enforcement Games gold medal in wrestling and in 1996 he won the International Law Enforcement Games gold medal.
