Memories as a Student Athlete
My most memorable moment as a student-athlete was preseason because I was able to see all of my teammates again after a long summer, and it was a great time to bond since it was essentially just you and your team for that week.
Â
Personal Reflection
I chose SUNY Oneonta because of the opportunity to play DIII field hockey while attending an AACSB accredited business school. What I didn't realize is that I chose a school that would lead me to meet lifelong friends and experience so many wonderful opportunities. I owe this school, the athletic department, my professors, and everyone I have met for helping me grow and shape who I am today.
Â
Head Field Hockey Coach Kelly Kingsbury said,
"We will miss Carly and her family next season. Carly has been such an amazing student-athlete here at Oneonta. Her discipline and involvement on campus made her a great role model for the underclassmen. Carly is a brilliantly smart young woman, and no doubt will excel in whatever avenue she ventures down."
