Box Score In a game between two evenly matched squads, it was Fredonia that took a one-goal victory today over SUNY Oneonta 11-10. The Red Dragons closed to within one-goal with just under two minutes to go, but couldn't come all the way back, as Fredonia remains undefeated at 12-0. The loss for Oneonta dropped them to 7-6 overall and 2-3 in the SUNYAC.
Neither team had more than a one-goal lead until three straight goals by the Blue Devils gave them an 11-9 lead with 4:36 left in regulation. Katie Kleine, who led Fredonia with five goals, scored back-to-back goals to give Fredonia its two-goal cushion.

Caroline Tulley (Malverne/Sacred Heart Academy) notched her 40th goal of the season in bringing the Red Dragons to within one goal with 1:54 to go in the contest.
After an Oneonta timeout, the Red Dragons controlled the ensuing draw and worked it for a shot, which hit the post by
Chelsea Collins (St. James/Smithtown East). Collins picked up the ground ball, but the ball was turned over by
Nicole Boylan (Massapequa/Massapequa) and was picked up by Fredonia, who ran the final 42 seconds off the clock.
Oneonta held a 5-4 advantage at halftime thanks to three goals by sophomore
Nikki Fioretti (Yorktown Heights/Yorktown).
Oneonta will continue its home stand this Tuesday when they host New Paltz beginning at 4pm.
