KANSAS CITY, Mo - The Oneonta men's soccer team was honored for its outstanding work in the classroom with the 2025-26 United Soccer Coaches Team Academic Award. The latest honor marks the ninth such award for the Red Dragons.
A total of 793 soccer teams (333 men, 460 women) posted a team grade point average of 3.0 or higher, thereby earning the United Soccer Coaches Team Academic Award for the 2025-26 academic year. Of that total, 184 schools had both their men's and women's programs recognized. Oneonta finished the year with a 3.14 cumulative GPA.
The Red Dragons finished 2025 at 14-5-4 overall and 5-2-2 in the SUNYAC, and claimed their 13th conference championship to reach the NCAA Tournament.
