KANSAS CITY, Mo. - The United Soccer Coaches announced on Thursday the College Team Academic Award winners, recognized for their exemplary performance in the classroom during the 2024-25 academic year.
Oneonta was one of 283 men's programs recognized for academic excellence and joins the Red Dragons' women's squad and is part of 161 institutions that had both the men's and women's teams honored. To earn the team award, a team must post a grade point average of 3.0, with the Red Dragons earning a 3.01 team grade point average. Overall, it is the eighth time in program history that the Oneonta women received the honor.
The Red Dragons kick off the 2025 season on Aug. 29 at Union.
