ITHACA, N.Y. - The Oneonta men's track & field team wrapped up the AARTFC Indoor Championships on Saturday afternoon. The Red Dragons placed 17th with 13 points, while Rowan won with 94 points.
Junior Josh Jerome (Guilderland, NY/Guilderland) placed 16th in the triple jump at 13.54 meters. Freshman Ayobami Adebayo (Long Island, NY/Longwood) cleared 1.98 meters in the high jump to finish second overall.
In the weight throw, junior Sawyer Eckberg (Maryland, NY/Laurens-Milford) took 18th at 15.09 meters.
Fifth-year Jonthomas Bierman (Mamaroneck, NY/Mamaroneck) crossed third in the 3,000-meter race at 8:29.74, while senior Gabe Burns (Riverhead, NY/Riverhead) was 20th at 9:15.94.
Oneonta next opens the outdoor season on Sat. Mar. 29 at the Utica Almost Spring Invite.
