COLLEGEVILLE, N.Y. - The Oneonta men's track & field team concluded action at the AARTFC Outdoor Championships on Thursday, finishing 24th out of 46 teams with 11 points. Rowan won the meet with 108 points.
In the 110-meter hurdle finals, senior Tariq Earl (Centereach, NY/Centereach) scored with a fourth-place finish at 14.48. Junior Kejhaune Lester (Castleton, NY/Columbia) added a third-place finish in the 100-meter dash at 10.72.
Senior Sawyer Eckberg (Maryland, NY/Laurens-Milford) competed in the discus and finished 15th at 42.23 meters.
In the triple jump, sophomore Gabriel Schoonmaker (Stone Ridge, NY/Rondout Valley) was 24th at 12.82 meters, and senior Josh Jerome (Guilderland, NY/Guilderland) took 26th at 12.46 meters.
Oneonta now awaits to see if any Red Dragons qualify for the NCAA Division III Outdoor Championships held on May 21.
