BUFFALO, N.Y. - The Oneonta men's swimming & diving team finished the first day of the 2025 SUNYAC-AMCC Championships at the Burt Flickinger Athletic Center. The Red Dragons competed in two relays and placed in the top five of both. Oneonta currently sits third out of ten teams with 74 points. Penn State Behrend is first with 90 points.Â
Oneonta placed fifth in the 200-yard medley relay. Seniors James Llewellyn (Great River, NY/East Islip), Ross Caimano (Queensbury, NY/Queensbury), junior Delroy Tyrrell (Trincity, Trinidad and Tobago), and freshman Luke Goodspeed (Niskayuna, NY/Niskayuna) swam a 1:35.13.
In the 800-yard medley relay, Llewellyn, Tyrrell, senior Maddox Aramini (Cooperstown, NY/Cherry Valley-Springfield), and sophomore Colin Ringwood (Auburn, NY/Auburn) earned fourth at 7:07.76.
Oneonta continues the championship meet on Thur. Feb. 20, with sessions at 10 a.m. and 5:30 p.m.
