BUFFALO, N.Y. - The Oenonta men's swimming & diving team concludes the 2026 SUNYAC Championships on Saturday by placing fifth out of 11 teams with 352 points. Penn State Behrend won the meet, scoring 836 points.
The meet started with freshman Brendan Kliment (Binghamton, NY/Chenango Valley) placing 17th in the 1,650-yard freestyle at 19:24.89.
Junior Nick Rhodes (Rockville Centre, N.Y.) earned his second individual medal of the week with a second-place performance in the 200-yard backstroke at 1:53.04. Junior Cosmo Martinelli (Albany, NY/Albany) took 12th in the 100-yard freestyle finals at 49.24. In the 200-yard breaststroke, senior Brendan Heaney (Binghamton, NY/Chenango Forks Central) finished 12th at 2:21.66, and sophomore Bastian Dudley (Oneonta, NY/Oneonta) was 16th at 2:26.17.
The 400-yard freestyle relay of Heaney, Martinelli, Rhodes, and Calvin Hitzschke (Mexico, NY/Mexico Academy & Central School) placed sixth at 3:15.48.
