ONEONTA, N.Y. - Senior Colleen McCabe (Rockville Centre, NY/Oceanside) wrapped up a four-year playing career for the Oneonta women's volleyball team with an All-SUNYAC Third Team selection announced this Wednesday morning. McCabe picks up the recognition for the first time as a Red Dragon.
The right side played in 27 matches this season, starting 23. McCabe played in 96 sets and was second on the team with 179 kills. Her 78 kills in SUNYAC play ranked 11th in the conference. McCabe added 27 service aces, 43 blocks, and 67 digs. She knocked in a career-high 13 kills in the 3-0 win over Canton and had four aces in the 3-0 win over Geneseo. McCabe recorded eight matches with ten or more kills.
Oneonta finished the season at 16-12 overall and 4-5 in the SUNYAC.
