ONEONTA, N.Y. -- Oneonta women's tennis junior
Haley Peck (West Point, N.Y./James I. O'Neil) and sophomore
Annika Cripe (Islip, N.Y./Islip) were tabbed the SUNYAC Women's Tennis Doubles Team of the Week for the week of October 6-12, as announced by the conference Tuesday afternoon. It is the first time in their careers that Cripe and Peck earned the conference's weekly accolade.
The Red Dragons top duo finished the week 1-1 in doubles with a win in conference play. Cripe and Peck went up against Cortland's Christina Massoni and Lisa Schulz on the No. 1 court and bested them for a 6-2 victory. The duo improved to 6-5 overall as a team, and 2-2 against conference opponents.
Oneonta (4-7, 1-4 SUNYAC) wraps up the fall season on Saturday, October 18, with a match against Marywood at 11 am at Dr. Heissan Tennis Courts.
