ONEONTA, N.Y. - The Oneonta women's tennis team put two student-athletes on the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District team, as announced Tuesday morning. Junior Haley Peck (West Point, N.Y./James I. O'Neil) and sophomore Taylor Plue (Saratoga Springs, N.Y./Saratoga Springs) both earn the honor for the first time.
The 2025-26 Academic All-District® Men's and Women's Tennis Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the court and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III, and NAIA.
Peck was an All-SUNYAC Second Team doubles selection after posting a 9-9 record at the No. 1 spot. In singles play, she earned six victories at the first position. Peck currently studies adolescence education: social studies while carrying a 3.51 cumulative GPA.
Plue recorded the most singles wins on the team with nine, and was 7-3 overall at No. 3 singles. Plue added seven doubles victories. Plue holds a 3.91 cumulative GPA studying Childhood Education (1-6).
To be nominated, a student-athlete must be a starter or important reserve on the team with at least a 3.50 cumulative grade point average (on a 4.0 scale) at his current institution. Eligible nominees need to be in the lineup for 70-percent of the total matches played by the team that includes team scores.
