Oneonta 0, Salve Regina 7
Oneonta kept it close in a couple of the doubles matches, but Salve Regina came away with all three for the doubles point. Junior Haley Peck (West Point, N.Y./James I. O'Neil) and sophomore Taylor Plue (Saratoga Springs, N.Y./Saratoga Springs) were bested by Anna Grace Hjerpe and Kaydin Pinto on court one, 6-3. Freshmen duo Ashley Glaviano (Glen Cove, NY/Glen Cove) and Trinity Lyons (Mastic, N.Y./William Floyd) also fell in a 6-3 decision to Cayla Dolan and Stephanie Davis on court three. Freshmen pairing Kiersten Rufrano (Oneonta, NY) and Dakota Jimenez (Poughquag, NY/Arlington) were tripped up on court two by Sadie Rieg and Madigan Murphy, 6-2.

The Seahawks kept the momentum going into singles play and took all six courts. Both Peck and Rufrano were close to winning the first set of their respective matches on courts one and three. However, their opponents, Pinto and Hjerpe, managed to hold them off in the end for the set and the eventual 6-4, 6-2 final. Plue fell short to Davis on court two, 6-2, 6-3.

Lyons was upended in straight 6-1 sets on court six by Rieg. Glaviano dropped a 6-0, 6-1 decision on court five to Sophia Padro, and Jimenez fell in a tough battle to Murphy on court four, 6-0, 6-0.

Oneonta 0, Macalester 7
Macalester was able to hold off Oneonta in all three doubles courts for the match point. Rufrano and Jimenez fell to Isabella Tamburrino and Darrian Streater on court two, 6-2. Both the Peck and Plue pair and the Glaviano and Lyons team dropped their respective matches on courts one and three, 6-1.

Rufrano was close to earning the Red Dragons a match point in singles play, but she came up short to Tamburrino in a third set on court three. The Oneonta freshman handled her Macalester opponent in the first set, 6-1, then the Scot took the second set, 6-3, to force the tiebreaker. In the third set, Tamburrino pulled away late for the 1-6, 6-3, 10-6, final.

Peck battled Savannah Haugen in both sets on court one, though Haugen earned the decision in the end, 6-3, 6-4. Lyons was bested on court six against Sedona Crosby, 6-1, 6-3, while Glaviano was tripped up by Greta Laurel on court five 6-2, 6-1.
