ONEONTA, N.Y. - Junior women's volleyball player Anna Moller (Long Beach, NY/Long Beach Senior High School) picked up her first SUNYAC weekly award today. The libero was named the SUNYAC Defensive Player of the Week after the Red Dragons finished the weekend 2-1 overall.
Moller finished with 84 digs, four aces, and nine assists. She grabbed 21 digs in the 3-0 win over Mount Saint Mary, then finished with a career-high 42 digs in the 3-2 victory over Utica, the third most in a single match in program history. Moller also had two kills and two aces in the win over the Pioneers. She wrapped up with 21 digs and two aces against Western New England.
Oneonta next travels to face SUNY Delhi on Wed. Sept. 4 at 6 p.m.
