A Quick Look
The SUNY Oneonta women's lacrosse team had 15 different players score as they defeated SUNY Potsdam 24-8, Wednesday afternoon. The Red Dragons are now 4-5 overall and 2-1 in the SUNYAC, while the Bears move to 5-4 overall and 1-2 in the SUNYAC.

Senior
Tessa Hughes (Delmar/Bethlehem Central) paced Oneonta's offense in the first quarter with four goals and an assist, junior
Lauren Sullivan (Pearl River/Pearl River) had two assists on Hughes' goals. Senior
Rachel Morris (East Greenbush/Columbia), sophomore
Lauren Mancini (Miller Place/Miller Place), and freshman
Cassidy Moore (Hampton Bays/Hampton Bays) all netted a goal during the first, to give the Red Dragons a 7-2 lead.
Oneonta tacked on eight more goals in the second, holding Potsdam to only two. Sophomore
Margaret Byrne (Poughkeepsie/Arlington) scored off an assist from Moore, and Morris scored her second on a free position shot within the first two minutes of the second. In between the Red Dragon goals, Hannah Stevenson scored on a free position shot for the Bears. Senior
Isabella Marx (Dix Hills/Half Hollow Hills East) scored on a man-up opportunity, junior
Megan Foiles (Pearl River/Pearl River) drove in to score, and senior
Kelly McCloe (Endicott/Union-Endicott) netted one on an assist from Hughes, to give Oneonta a 12-3 lead with 5:24 in the half. Potsdam's Anita Reitano scored an unassisted goal at 4:53, before the Red Dragons scored three more goals, all assisted by Mancini. Freshman
Mason Benvenuto (Lynbrook/Lynbrook) scored her first collegiate goal, Hughes picked up her fifth of the game, and sophomore
Jaclyn Jackowski (Commack/Commack) scored her first of the season, giving Oneonta a 15-4 halftime lead.
The Red Dragons closed out the game outscoring the Bears 9-4. Hughes, McCloe, Byrne, and sophomore
Marissa Evans (Jamesville/LaFayette) all scored in the third. Freshmen
Ellie Downey (West Babylon/West Babylon),
Elizabeth Doherty (Miller Place/Miller Place),
Carly Szczepaniak (Burnt Hills/Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake), and sophomore
Paige Wilkinson (Cornwall/Cornwall Central) recorded their first collegiate goals in the fourth quarter. Jackowski ended the Red Dragon scoring with 20 seconds remaining.
Just the Stats
Out of the 15 different scorers for Oneonta, five of them scored multiple goals, and another five scored their first collegiate goal; Hughes led with six goals, while Morris, McCloe, Byrne, and Jackowski each put up a pair. Mancini led with three assists, and Hughes and Sullivan recorded two.
Stevenson, Reitano, and Kyrsten Stone had two goals for the Bears.
Sophomores
Courtney Gallagher (Montrose/Hendrick Hudson),
Taryn Kain (Queensbury/Queensbury), junior
Jennifer Tumino (Carle Place/Carle Place), and freshman
Julia Hawkins (East Greenbush/Columbia) all recorded minutes in front of the net. Gallagher started and received the win with six saves, while Hawkins had two saves.
