The SUNY Oneonta women's lacrosse team ran its current win streak to five games today with an easy 19-6 victory at home versus Buffalo State. The win raised the Red Dragons overall record to 7-5 while pushing its SUNYAC record to 5-1. The Bengals leave town 5-6 overall and 1-4 in conference play.

The Inside Story
Oneonta was led by the duo of senior
Rachel Morris (East Greenbush/Columbia) and junior
Megan Foiles (Pearl River/Pearl River), who combined for nine of the team's 19 goals. Both players had career best days statistically. Morris collected a collegiate best nine draw controls to go with her four goals in the game. Foiles tallied a career best five goals and eight assists for 13 points. The eight assists tied the single-game record while the 13 points are second most in a single game.

Oneonta scored the game's first nine goals, which brought them to the midway point of the second quarter. By halftime, the Red Dragons held a 10-3 lead and increased it to 17-4 entering the fourth quarter.
