Memories as a Student Athlete
My most memorable moment as a student athlete was joining lacrosse in my sophomore year, after being on the swim team my freshman year. I knew that there was no way I was going to go through college without playing lacrosse- and it was, by far, one of the best decisions that I made at Oneonta. I immediately loved my team, made great friendships, and gained incredible memories. Playing lacrosse instilled an indescribable passion and energy within myself, allowing me to grow as a player and person.
Â
Personal Reflection
Oneonta was a magical experience that went by too soon! It has contributed greatly into shaping me into the person that I am today. I am so beyond grateful for the education, sports, memories, and lifelong friendships that I gained along the way.

Head Lacrosse Coach Brandi Lusk said,
"Fran is one of the toughest and hardest working players I have ever coached. Not to mention the busiest! She was student teaching this whole season and I completely trusted her ability to balance everything. She's a true competitor and someone who the whole team relied on and was excited for on defense."
