The SUNY Oneonta men's track & field team journeyed back to Cortland today to compete in its final meet prior to the SUNYAC championship meet this Friday and Saturday at Cortland.

The top performer today for the Red Dragons was senior
Norberto Cervantes (Williamson/Williamson) who competed in the hammer, shot put and discus. Cervantes took first in the hammer with a season best 53.00m (173'-11"). He posted another season best mark in placing 6
th in the shot put (11.87m, 38'-11 ½") and finished third in the discus at 130' even.

Bryce Maopolski (Narrowsburg/Sullivan West) posted a personal best time of 10:00.91 in the 3K steeplechase where he placed second. Classmate
Eion McClain (Andover, NJ/Pope John XXIII) debuted in the event and finished third with a time of 10:15.51.

Luke Jarski (Massapequa/Massapequa) posted a season best 2:00.58 in finishing fourth in the 800-meter run.

Aidan Kelly (Farmingdale/Farmingdale) recorded a personal best mark of 20'-1" in the long jump. Later in the meet, he cleared 5'-8 ¾" in finishing second in the high jump.

Oneonta debuted its 4x100-meter relay foursome that included seniors
Jared Stauss (Kerhonkson/Rondout Valley) and
Nick Michalowski (Clifton Park/Shenendehowa) and freshman
Jacob Ghiorse (Oneonta/Oneonta) and
Alec Weiss (Selden/Newfield). The foursome posted a time of 45 seconds.
