WILLIAMSTOWN, MA - The Oneonta men's track & field team wrapped up the regular season at the AARTFC Championships held at Williams College on Thursday afternoon. The Red Dragons finished 16th out of 39 teams with 28 points. Susquehanna won the meet with 72 points.
Fifth-year Jonthomas Bierman (Mamaroneck, NY/Mamaroneck) broke the school record he set a week earlier in the 1,500 meters. He was the gold medalist at 3:51.31.
In the high jump, freshman Ayobami Adebayo (Long Island, NY/Longwood) took fourth at 1.92 meters. He went on to place 17th in the triple jump at 13.64 meters.
Senior Marco Altieri (Staten Island, NY/Staten Island) grabbed 15th in the hammer throw at 50.49 meters, while senior Sawyer Eckberg (Maryland, NY/Laurens-Milford) finished 26th at 45.65 meters.
