ONEONTA, N.Y. - Following a 2-0 weekend in SUNYAC play, Oneonta women's volleyball senior Lillian Slattery (Queensbury, NY/Queensbury) is the Spry SUNYAC Defensive Athlete of the Week for October 26. The Red Dragons won 3-2 over Morrisville and swept Oswego 3-0.
Slattery helped the Oneonta women's volleyball team to a 2-0 weekend as the Red Dragons' libero. She totaled 47 digs at 5.88 per set with a .972 reception percentage. She also added six service aces. In the 3-2 win over Morrisville, Slattery had 29 digs with a match-high five aces. Then in the 3-0 sweep over Oswego, she grabbed 18 digs and one ace.
Oneonta next faces Buffalo State on Friday, October 30, at 6 p.m.
