ONEONTA, N.Y. - The Oneonta women's volleyball team begins the 2025 season hosting the six-team Red Dragon Invitational from August 29-30 in Dewar Arena. The Red Dragons start against Utica on Friday at 3 p.m. and then Penn College at 7 p.m. On Saturday, Oneonta faces Geneseo at 10 a.m. and concludes the invitational against Baruch at 2 p.m.
Last Season
- Oneonta finished the 2024 season with a 9-18 overall record and a 2-7 mark in SUNYAC play.
Key Returners
- Junior Keira Welsh (Patchogue, NY/Patchogue-Medford) is the returning kills leader with 127 last season. She added 13 blocks, 11 aces, and 69 digs.
- Senior Sabrina Squicciarini (Manorville, NY/St. Anthony's) was fourth on the team with 109 kills and 31 blocks.
- Senior Anna Moller (Long Beach, NY/Long Beach Senior) topped the team with 45 service aces and 403 digs.
- Senior Mikayla Kendrick (Nassau, NY/Columbia) finished second with 28 service aces and 232 digs.
- Sophomore Shea Landversicht (Greenville, NY/Greenville) looks to expand her role after finishing second on the team with 40 blocks.
- Sophomore Hailey Herrera (Brooklyn, NY/Park Slope Collegiate) was the Red Dragons' primary setter with 487 assists and 14 aces. Sophomore Addison Tanton (Liverpool, NY/Liverpool) added 160 assists.
