BUFFALO, N.Y. - The Oneonta women's swimming & diving team wrapped up the 2025 SUNYAC-AMCC Championships on Saturday evening at the Burt Flickinger Athletic Center. The Red Dragons placed fifth out of ten teams with 297 points, while Cortland won the title with 927.
Freshman Alexis Gibson (Schenectady, NY/Schenectady) swam a 55.56 to place fifth overall in the 100-yard freestyle, while junior Allison LaBarbera (Lynbrook, NY/Lynbrook) took 11th with a 56.22.
Senior Lena Nakken (Islip, NY/Islip) touched eighth in the 1,650-yard freestyle at 11:46.83.
In the 200-yard backstroke, sophomore Alexandria Bard (Schenectady, NY/Duanesburg) finished 11th at 2:21.34. Sophomore Alaska Lilliock (Malone, NY/Franklin Academy) grabbed 16th place at 2:34.78.
Senior Anna McCall (Ligonier, PA/Ligonier Valley) placed 15th in the 200-yard breaststroke at 2:47.54.
Oneonta's 400-yard freestyle relay finished fifth overall. Senior Callie Stinson (Alexandria, VA/West Potomac), Gibson, LaBarbera, and Nakken touched at 3:49.09.
