Oneonta (12-4-4) earned a spot into the National Tournament with an automatic bid after winning three matches on the road in the SUNYAC Tournament en route to their conference title. Oneonta shutout New Paltz in the first round of the tournament, 3-0, behind senior Sam Rogers (Broadalbin, N.Y./Broadalbin-Perth) hat trick and junior James Cintron's (Poughkeepsie, NY/Roy C. Ketcham) seven saves. The team advanced past Cortland in the semifinals in penalty kicks, 4-3, then they came from behind and defeated Buffalo State, 2-1, in the championship after senior Joe Holder (Greenwood Lake, N.Y./Warwick) tied the game in the 74th and freshman Noah Hechler (Somers, NY/Somers) scored the game-winner in the 86th. Freshman Nico Osorio (Valley Stream, NY/St. Dominick's) finished with two saves in the championship match for his first collegiate start, while Hechler was named the tournament's MVP.

Holder leads the Red Dragons this season with 17 points off seven goals and three assists. Sophomore Tommy Kliampas (South Huntington, NY/Walt Whitman) (8g., 0a.) and Rogers (6g., 4a.) each recorded 16 points for the team, while senior Milton Mancias Magana (Mamaroneck, N.Y./Mamaroneck) and senior Luigi Prosperi (Lynbrook, N.Y./Lynbrook) both totaled five goals and four assists for 14 points. Senior Zach Rabadi (Hopewell Junction, N.Y./John Jay) has the team-high seven assists with two goals for 11 points.

Cintron has been Oneonta's primary keeper this season. In 19 starts, he has recorded 60 total saves for an .800 save percentage with eight shutouts on the year and a 0.85 goals against average.

Goldstein finished with two goals in the tournament, while Alexander Yablonovskiy scored a goal and two assists, one of which was on Goldstein's game-winner in the finals.
