ONEONTA, N.Y. - The Oneonta men's basketball team announced its 2024-25 schedule this week, with a highlight trip to California to play Occidental and Chapman. The Red Dragons open the season on Nov. 7 with an exhibition game at Division I Binghamton.

"We have a great schedule this season and one that our student-athletes are very excited about," said head coach Cameron Conover. "Our players will have the opportunity to compete against two division I schools to start the season. Our non-conference schedule is full of tough programs that will help prepare us for SUNYAC play. With games against old rivals Binghamton and Albany, this schedule is built to challenge us each time we step on the court."

Oneonta follows up with another Division I contest at Albany on Nov. 9 before making the short trip to play Hartwick on Nov. 13. The Red Dragons welcome three teams (Westfield State, Mississippi College for Women, and Elmira) to Dewar Arena on Nov.16-17 as they host the 3rd Annual Michael A. Freilich Tip-Off Tournament.

Oneonta follows up with non-conference games against Williams (Nov. 20) and Wheaton (Nov. 23) before starting SUNYAC play at Oswego on Dec. 3. Over winter break, the Red Dragons head to California to play Occidental on Dec. 19 and Chapman on Dec. 20.

Conference play begins on Tue. Dec. 3 and concludes Feb. 22 before the six-team championship begins.
