ONEONTA, N.Y. -Â Seniors Isabella Fabrizio (Highland Mills, NY/Cornwall) and Ejim Nnate (Port Jefferson Station, NY/Comsewogue) picked up U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) Niagara All-Region recognition, as announced by the league office on Friday. Fabrizio earned all-region for shot put, while Nnate was for 100-meter hurdles.Â
Fabrizio was the SUNYAC shot put champion at 13.67 meters. She placed in the top five in eight meets and won the shot put at the Cortland Red Dragon Open. Fabrizio placed fourth at the AARTFC Championships at 13.37 meters.Â
Nnate broke the Oneonta 100-meter hurdles record multiple times throughout the season and placed in the top five in eight meets. She won the hurdles at three meets and earned All-SUNYAC Second Team Honors with a second-place finish (14.37). At the AARTFC Championships, Nnate took fourth at program record of 14.41.Â
Fabrizio and Nnate next compete at the NCAA Division III Outdoor Track & Field Championships from May 23-25 in Myrtle Beach, S.C.Â
