GENEVA, N.Y. -- The SUNY Oneonta women's tennis team dropped their road match against William Smith, 8-1, Sunday afternoon. Senior
Julia Holtermann (Staten Island, N.Y./Curtis) earned the team's point on the No. 1 singles court. The Red Dragons moved to 9-8 overall while the Herons improved to 1-2.

Brianna Shaw (Staten Island, N.Y./Curtis) battled against Isabelle Goings-Perr and Haley Levine on the No. 1 doubles court. The duos went back-and-forth into a tiebreaker where Goings-Perr and Levine took the match 8-7 (7-5).
Holtermann faced Mae Kellersman on the No. 1 singles court and defeated her in straight sets, 6-1, 6-3. Sophomore
Danielle Copp (Marcellus, N.Y./Marcellus) fought hard on the No. 4 court against Julia Pida. Copp won the first set in a tie break, however Pida forced a super tiebreaker and won the match, 6-7 (5-7), 6-3, 10-6. Shaw came up short against Natalie Haythorn on the No. 2 court, 6-4, 7-5.
The Red Dragons are back in action Sunday, March 24, at Ithaca at 3 pm.
