BUFFALO, N.Y. -Â The Oneonta men's swimming & diving team finished fourth out of eight teams with 340 points at the SUNYAC Swimming & Diving Championships. Oneonta set two program records and had one all-conference swimmer and an all-conference relay. Geneseo won the team title with 1,032 points.Â
Junior Mason DeLisio (Kingston, NY/Kingston) medalled in his third individual event of the weekend with a silver in the 100-yard freestyle and swam a school record time of 45.74.Â
Freshman Andrew Capella (Glenville, NY/Burnt-Hills-Ballston Lake) took sixth in the 1,650-yard freestyle at 17:03.15.
In the 200-yard backstroke, junior James Llewellyn (Great River, NY/East Islip) placed fifth overall at 1:56.94, while junior Joseph Campise (Queens, NY/St. Francis Prep) took 13th at 2:05.68.Â
Freshman Ethan Cairo () swam a 2:16.06 in the 200-breaststroke to finish 11th overall. Freshman Colin Ringwood () finished 12th in the 200-yard butterfly at 2:07.00.Â
Oneonta wrapped up the meet with a silver medal in the 400-yard freestyle relay. Seniors Eli Cohen (Schoharie, NY/East Lake (Fla)) and Ross Caimano (Queensbury, NY/Queensbury), DeLisio, and Llewellyn swam a program record time of 3:08.31.Â
