NEW YORK, N.Y. -Â The Oneonta men's & women's track & field wrapped up Saturday's second day of the AARTFC Indoor Championships. The men finished 17th, while the women took 18th overall.Â
In the 60-meter hurdles finals, junior Ejim Nnate (Port Jefferson Station, NY/Comsewogue) placed eighth with a time of 9.10.Â
Next was the men's 800-meter, and junior Luke Jarski (Massapequa, NY/Massapequa) took fifth overall at 1:55.78. Junior Jonthomas Bierman (Mamaroneck, NY/Mamaroneck) finished 27th in the 3,000 with a time of 8:53.72.Â
In the field events, junior Isabella Fabrizio (Highland Mills, NY/Cornwall) threw 15.02 meters in the weight throw to place 13th. Hannah Jackson (Poughquag, NY/Arlington) was 22nd with a mark of 14.34 meters. Senior Miles Moliterni (Pine Bush, NY/Pine Bush) threw a personal record of 16.89 to place eighth in the men's weight throw.Â
Freshman Alex Ordonez (Troy, NY/Troy) took 15th in the high jump with a clear of 1.85 meters.Â
Junior Aidan Kelly (Farmingdale, NY/Farmingdale) completed the heptathlon with a sixth-place finish with 4,184 points. Kelly placed fourth in the pole vault at 3.60 meters and was seventh in the 1,000 with a time of 2:58.35.
Oneonta awaits the announcement of qualifiers for next weekend's NCAA Division III Championships, which are held at the Birmingham Crossplex in Birmingham, Ala., March 10-11. The top 20 in each individual event and the top 12 in each relay (4x400 and DMR) qualify for nationals.Â
