The SUNY Oneonta field hockey team dropped a 3-1 decision to Marywood University on Saturday afternoon at Pacer Field. The loss drops the Red Dragons record to 1-4 on the year while the Pacers move to 3-3.
The Inside Story
Oneonta got on the board first when
Ally McCrudden (Red Hook/Red Hook) found the back of the net 9:34 into the game. After a scoreless second quarter, Marywood knotted the game at 1-1 in the 37
th minute one a loose ball in front. The game remained tied until the Pacers scored on a penalty stroke in the 54
th minute. Marywood put the game out of reach 1:39 later on a Sara Thomas goal off of a corner to make the final 3-1.

Marywood held an 11-3 advantage on corners along with 9-5 difference in shots. Oneonta goalie
