Oneonta, NY (Hartwick) - The Red Dragon men got a victory gaining a 155-132 triumph against conference foe SUNY New Paltz but dropped a meet to Hartwick College 178-109. The men are now 3-3 on the season.
Highlights for the Red Dragon men were recorded in the 100 yard backstroke as freshman
James Llewellyn (Great River/East Islip) timed in at 56.21 only .34 of a second ahead of the New Paltz runner-up. Llewelyn recorded his second win on the afternoon when he took top honors in the 200 yard backstroke at 2:07.12 with the Hartwick second place finisher trailing by only .55 seconds.Â
Freshman
Mason DeLisio (Kingston/Kingston) got the top position in the 500 yard freestyle as he recorded a time of 5:06.37 edging out the Hartwick runner-up by just .98 of a second.Â
Senior
Colin Davis (Chester/Monroe-Woodbury) and freshman
Sean Kirk (Harriman/Monroe Woodbury) got wins today in both the diving competitions rounding out the victories for the Red Dragons today.
The Men's Swimming and Diving squads are back in action on Friday, November 19th at the Diamond City Invitational in Wilkes-Barre, Pa with the action getting underway at 9 AM.
