The SUNY Oneonta field hockey team wrapped up the regular season losing to RPI, 3-1. The Red Dragons ended the regular season 3-12, while the Engineers ended 9-8.

The Inside Story
RPI got on the board less than three minutes into the game on a Brianna Duba goal off a corner. The Engineers' Nina Caprio extended the lead to two in the 21
st minute, with Duba assisting on the play.

A little over a minute into the third quarter, Duba intercepted an Oneonta pass at midfield and brought the ball down and scored her second goal of the day, extending the lead 3-0.

Oneonta avoided the shutout scoring a couple minutes after Duba's goal. Senior forward
Emily Raymond (Deposit/Deposit) received the corner pass at the top of the circle, passed to sophomore forward
Erin Clark (Somers/Somers) at the wing, Clark took a shot and was redirected in the net by senior forward
Alexa Ryan (Yorktown Heights/Lakeland). Â

RPI outshot Oneonta 11-6 and had a 10-6 advantage on penalty corners. Senior goalie
Kristy Campana (Melville/Walt Whitman) played the first three quarters and saved four shots, and junior
Jennifer Tumino (Carle Place/Carle Place) played the last quarter and recorded a save. Â
